Alan S. Miller

Alan S. Miller, 58, died September 10, 2015, in his Wyomissing residence.

He was the husband of Kimberly A. (Titlow) Miller; they were married on December 28, 2002.

Born in Pottstown, he was the son of the late Calvin M. and Elizabeth "Scotta" (Coon) Miller.

Alan was a 1975 graduate of Wyomissing Area High School and received his undergraduate degree from Bucknell University in 1979. He received his law degree from University of Pittsburgh Law School in 1982.

He began his career as an attorney in private practice and later became in-house counsel for Gilbert Associates. Most recently, he was the solicitor for the County of Berks.

He was a member of the Berks County Bar Association; and was a board member for the World Affairs Council and the Wyomissing Library.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Sam Alan Miller, a fourth grade student at Wyomissing Hills Elementary Center. He was predeceased by his half-sister, Janet Moyer.

Services will be held Wednesday, September 16, 2015, at Atonement Lutheran Church, 5 Wyomissing Blvd, Wyomissing, at 11 a.m. Friends may call at the church from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
