Agnes M. Marino

Agnes M. Marino, 87, of Mohnton, passed away January 9, 2015 in St. Joseph's Hospital.

She was the widow of Michael A. Marino.

Born September 17, 1927 in Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Veronica (Petro) Monka.

Agnes was a member of St. John Baptist De LaSalle R.C.C., Shillington.

She was survived by one son, Michael A., Jr., husband of Jennifer Marino, MD; and six daughters: Carol, wife of Joseph Devaney, Bloomsburg, Janice, wife of Dr. Thomas Burguieres, MD, Susan, wife of Robert Serdensky, MD, Mary M., wife of David Secor, Reinholds, Margaret Lebo, Reading and Linda, wife of Kevin Abell, NC.

Other survivors include sixteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, 10:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Villa. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Missionary Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, or Sacred Heart Villa, 51 Seminary Avenue, Reading, PA 19605. Edward J.
