Agnes O'Donnell Bradley, 97 of Shillington died June 7 at 1:39 PM in Mifflin Healthcare Center, Cumru Twp. where she had been since May 22, 2003.
She was the wife of the late Peter Bradley.
Born in Summit Hill, PA she was the daughter of the late Joseph E. and Anne (Gallagher) O'Donnell.
Bradley was employed as a dietician by various hopsitals in Philadelphia, Coaldale, and Dayton, Ohio for several years. She was previously employed as a commercial dietician in Long Island. (employed by Howard Johnson.)
She was a veteran of World War II. She rose to the rank of captain serving under General Crawford Sams in Post War Japan.
Bradley was a graduate of the former St. Joseph's College, Emmitsburg, MD, receiving a Bachelor's Degree in Science.
Bradley was a member of St. John Baptist de la Salle Roman Catholic Church, Shillington.
She is survived by one son Christian J., Shillington, and 2 nephews Joseph Dougherty , Chevy Chase, MD, and Corneilus Dougherty, Boynton Beach, FL. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 10 AM in St. John Baptist de la Salle Roman Catholic Church. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery. Friends may call Friday 9:30 am until the time of the Mass at the church.
