Adrian F.W. Strahn

Adrian F.W. Strahn, 63 of Hamburg died in his residence on Friday, December 11, 2015. He was the husband of Linda S. (Smith) Strahn whom he was married to for 35 years. Adrian was born in Plymouth, U.K. and was the son of the late Alton B. and Liley E. (Bowen) Strahn. He was a 1969 graduate of Exeter High School and was a Boy Scout in Never Sink Troop # 230. Adrian was a lifetime member of the Hamburg Game Association, and was involved in many Hamburg Youth sports programs including, football, wrestling and baseball. He was an avid fisherman, hunter and an experienced outdoorsman. He was of the Episcopal Faith. Adrian was a self-employed contractor for 40 years. In addition to his wife, four children survive Adrian, Ehren husband of Jennifer Strahn and Alexander (Oak) Strahn both of Anchorage, Alaska, Sarah Strahn, Bethel and Zachary Strahn, Hamburg and 7 grandchildren. Additionally one brother, Eric L.B. Strahn, Esq., Reading, survives Adrian and one brother, David E. Strahn, predeceased him in January 1991. A viewing will be held on Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM in the Burkey & Driscoll Funeral Home, Inc. 40 S. 4th Street, Hamburg, PA. Funeral services will begin at 8:00 PM Wednesday evening the Reverend Frederick Diehl officiating. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
