Adrian J. Dougherty

Adrian Joseph Dougherty, 85, died November 20, 2012 in Golden Living Center, Exeter Township.

Born March 19, 1927 in Cresson, PA, he was a son of the late Louis and Elizabeth (Lauer) Dougherty.

He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

Adrian was emoloyed as an independant bulk mail cantractor by the U. S. Government for 17 years.

Surviving are two daughters, Adrianne, wife of Douglas Swoyer of Sinking Spring and Parris A. Jourdan of Oregon.

Other survivors include a grandson, Bryan Eckert of California; siblings: Alvin Dougherty of Media, PA; Donald, husband of Rita Dougherty of Allentown; Regis, husband of Betty Dougherty of Allentown and Rosalia, wife of Wallace Adams of Warminster.

Adrian was predeceased by three siblings: Melvin Dougherty, Edgar Dougherty and Edna Mary Hoffman.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale is in charge of arrangments.
