Adeline N. Ruskiewicz, 91, surrounded by her loving children, was reunited with her family in Heaven on Thursday, November 26, 2015.
She was reunited with her loving husband, Edward W., on this day, their 62nd wedding anniversary.
Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Ike and Elizabeth (Santora) Iezzi.
She was a first baster, sewing Army jackets during WWII, and later was sewing drapes and awnings. Her greatest joy in life was caring for her family and her home. She was a member of St. John Baptist de la Salle Roman Catholic Church, Shillington.
Adeline is survived by her two loving children, Edward A. and Mary A. Ruskiewicz, both of Shillington, and her loving and faithful companion, Snowball.
She was predeceased by her five brothers: Joseph, Alfred, Romeo, Ike Jr., and Pompey.
Our family would especially like to thank the BVNA Home Hospice Care Team, Tony, Mary, Mark, Ilona, Carol, and Maddy, for their amazing support and care for Mom and our family during her illness.
Family and friends are welcome to attend a prayer service which will be celebrated Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at 10 a.m. in the Gethsemane Mausoleum Chapel,3139 Kutztown Rd, Reading, PA 19605. She will be laid to rest with her husband in the Mausoleum.
Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, West Reading, is in charge of arrangements.
