Adeline Y. Christman

Adeline Y. Christman, 94, formerly of Oley, passed away in Topton Lutheran Home on July 26, 2013.

She was the wife of the late Clarence E. Christman, who died June 12, 1971, and the companion of the late Walter Conner.

Born in Rockland Township, she was a daughter of the late John and Emma (Youse) Seyler.

She was a member of Friedens Lutheran Church, Oley.

Adeline was famous in town for her homemade fastnachts and other baked goods. She was also known for having the cleanest house in Oley.

She was survived by her niece, Leona E. Stauffer, Colebrookdale Township.

Adeline was predeceased by her five sisters and four brothers.

Services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 am in Blankenbiller Funeral Home, 423 Main St. Oley, PA 19547. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service in the funeral home. Burial will be in Friedens Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Friends Lutheran Church, 1076 Memorial Highway, Oley,PA 19547.
