Adelfa Sanchez

Adelfa Sanchez, 84, of Reading, passed away on March 9, 2026. Born in Columbia, she was the daughter of Inez Calderon.

Adelfa was full of energy, spirited, and always positive. She brought warmth and enthusiasm wherever she went. She loved Colombian food and Latino music, and she enjoyed being involved in Latin clubs and organizations.

She will be deeply missed by her daughter, Claudia Torres (fiance of Israel Fuentes), her grandson, Marcus Torres (Lisette) and her great-grandchildren, Aaliyah and Mia. She is also survived by four sisters.

Adelfa was predeceased by two sisters and one brother.

A viewing will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2026 from 5-8PM at Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, 739 Penn Avenue, West Reading. Adelfa will be laid to rest at Forest Hills Memorial Park on Monday, March 23, 2026 at 11AM.
