Adam S. Leinbach

Adam S. Leinbach, 93, of the St. Joseph's Living Center, died June 8, 2007 in Spruce Manor where he had been since May 16.

He was the husband of Ida Ruth (Kensil) Harrington Leinbach. His first wife Pauline C. (Manwiller) Leinbach died in August of 1957.

Born in Temple, he was the son of the late Samuel T. and Alice (Schmeck) Leinbach.

Adam was employed by Glidden Paint Company, Reading for 40 years, retiring in 1980.

He was a graduate of Muhlenberg High School and was a member of Grace Alsace United Church of Christ.

Adam was an Army veteran, serving during World War II.

He is survived by one daughter, Judith L. wife of William D. Maitland, Pine City, NY and two grandchildren, Andrew R. Maitland and James T. Maitland.

Services will be Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale. Burial will be in Alsace Cemetery. A viewing will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home.
