Abraham Milton Bieber

Abraham Milton Bieber, 97, of Mohnton, passed away September 25, 2013, in Reading Hospital.

He was the husband of Verna A. (Katzaman) Bieber.

Born July 19, 1916 in Oley, he was a son of the late Ammon and Lottie (Heffner) Bieber.

He was a 1934 graduate of Reading High School.

Abraham worked for Dana Corporation, Reading, for 35 years, retiring in 1976.

In addition to his wife he is survived by his three daughters: Shirley, wife of Glenn Wenrich, Muhlenberg Township; Carole, wife of Neil Spayd, Miami, FL; and Deborah, wife of Scott Anuszewski, Mohnton. Also surviving are two sisters, Arlene and Dorothy. Eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren also survive him.

Abraham was predeceased by his siblings: Betty, John "Jake", Fred, Ella, Emily, Thomas, and Lester.

Services will be Tuesday at 9 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. A viewing will be held from 8:30 to 9 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be in Friedens Cemetery, Oley. Online condolences may be recorded at www.kuhnfuneralhome.com.
