Abigail F. Hoffman, 91, of West Fornance Street, Norristown, Montgomery County, died Sept. 20 at 4:52 p.m. in Montgomery Hospital, Norristown, where she had been a patient since Sept. 13.
Her husband, Thomas D. Hoffman, died Dec. 21, 1966.
Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Irvin H. and Eva E. (Freeman) Kissinger.
Hoffman was self-employed for many years in both housekeeping and catering, until her retirement.
She is survived by a son, Thomas D. Jr., Lady Lake, Fla.; and two daughters, Helene (Hoffman) Balmer, Lancaster, and Barbara A. (Hoffman) Hoch, with whom she last resided.
Other survivors include two sisters, Eva (Kissinger) Schultz, Birdsboro, and Betty Jane (Kissinger) Schlegel, Sinking Spring; and three brothers: Irwin Kissinger, Kenhorst; Earl Kissinger, Mohnton; and John Kissinger, Long Island, N.Y.
There are also 10 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a daughter, Erma E. Hoffman, in 1930.
Services will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading. Burial will be in Laureldale Cemetery, Tuckerton.
