Aaron Robert Weingard

Aaron R. Weingard, 24, of Boyertown, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 27, 2021. Born in Reading, he was a son of Robert and Maria (Corry) Weingard of Boyertown.

He graduated in 2015 from Boyertown High School where he was an active member of the cross country, indoor and outdoor track teams. He was co-captain of the cross-country team his senior year, and he was awarded the Jean Specht Award for the student who most showed the quality of courage in athletics at Boyertown High School. Aaron went on to study film at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, including a six-month study abroad in London, England, earning his Bachelor of Fine Art degree in 2019.

Aaron's love of film began early—he filmed his first videos at age 10. Creative, imaginative, and adventurous, Aaron enjoyed filming friends skateboarding, he was an avid skateboarder himself and aspired to be a videographer/director in the skateboarding industry. His short-length documentative Skateboarding film "Home" was shot in London and Philadelphia and premiered at the Vox Populi in Philadelphia on January 19, 2019. A very active young man, Aaron once made the "Long Walk" from Philadelphia to his family home in Boyertown in a single day. Upon graduation from high school, he held a school record of 104 push-ups and his personal best was 145. He enjoyed music, bike riding, fishing, hiking and all outdoor activities. He enjoyed traveling and had visited all 48 contiguous states in the U.S. He also spent time abroad in England and Paris, France during his college studies.

A very loving soul, he had wonderful rapport with both children and animals. His cat, Pauline, will miss him a great deal.

Aaron's memory is treasured by his parents, Bob and Maria, and his brother, Denton J. Weingard. Numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends also survive him.
